SCENARIO-IT CONSULTING COMPANY
You own an IT consulting business and have a new client who has been approached by an investment group that wishes to invest in the client’s company. This would enable a major expansion of the client’s business, and the client wants to engage your company to help understand and address key items and considerations the expansion would require.
The expansion would include moving from operating at a single location to four U.S. regional offices, a centralized U.S. warehouse, and relocating all manufacturing overseas. Your client wants to understand how the globalization of their manufacturing could affect the company and needs recommendations for how to network all the locations, what’s required to implement a DBMS for the future business, and how using some type of data repository could help support reporting and analytics for the company.
The expansion will also require more operational support, and the client would like to understand the key considerations in moving to the cloud, changing from traditional marketing strategies to a greater use of social media for advertising, and whether outsourcing could be a solution for their IT support needs.
REQUIREMENTS For this essay, you will develop an original response to fully address the topic areas and concepts in detail from the Project Scenario presented above. These should include, at a minimum, answers to the following:

Explain key points a company needs to consider when moving to the cloud.
Explain how changing from traditional marketing strategies to increased use of social media for advertising should be approached and considered by a company.
Explain considerations for how and why or why not outsourcing could be a solution for a company’s IT support needs.
The overall 3- 5-page paper, along with all topic sections, should have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion. You are required to cite all sources used in writing your essay with APA citation formatting.
