Analyzing the Data
A primary component of the role of Student Support Counselor is to provide comprehensive, culturally competent prevention, intervention, assessment and referral service to individuals, groups, families, teachers and administration. Complete the following activities in preparation for your Finalist Day considering the information provided.
Activity #2: NF Data Review and Delivery
Review the NF Data Package provided and develop a brief meeting agenda that you will use when presenting your findings to your campus’ administrative team. Make recommendations and consider the following questions:
1. What additional data would you request to make more informed recommendations?
2. What macro and micro level supports would you suggest?
3. What specific responsibilities would you execute independently?
4. What campus collaborations would be most essential in completing your recommendations?
5. What resources would you allocate?
Complete a 1-2 page analysis of the data answering all the questions above.
