Instructions:
Students will work in assigned groups to develop a poster presentation related to clinical practice.
Required Elements:
•Develop a poster presentation with the following components:
Define and explain the topic related to clinical practice including the evidence that supports nursing care.
oPoster must contain 5 key points(subtopics) related to the topic
:▪A theory to support the practice
▪Short literature review (no more than 250 words)
▪Research findings with implications to nursing practice
▪Process improvement based on evidence
▪Examples of how nurses can utilize concepts to improve nursing care in order to impact patient care outcomes
oPictures and/or graphics must be professional and relevant to the topic.oLayout must be professional, neat, clear, and easy to follow/understand.Group Participation:
•Each team member is responsible for participating in the presentation of the poster. Group should demonstrate teamwork and all members participate equally in the presentation.
•Presentation of information should be smooth, use correct grammar and professional vocabulary, maintain eye contact, exhibit professional appearance and behaviors, and involve audience by using questions, quiz, game or other activities.

•Include a minimum of three (3)scholarly/professional peer-reviewed references.oReferences used in this presentation should be no more than five years old. Exceptions include seminal works, such as original publications by nurse theorists (classic source).oDo not use Wikipedia or internet sources that are not officially recognized as authority websites, as such websites are not scholarly sources. Also, keep in mind that not every .org domain is an authoritative website.
oGraphics and/or pictures must be cited.APA Format
•Presentation must follow APA guidelines.
oReference page is in correct APA format.
