1. What is the topic under investigation? Explain the value added by addressing this issue through qualitative research.

3. How is your topic idea going to be addressed through qualitative research as to add value to the field? Related, what are the deficits in existing research that substantiate further qualitative research?
4. Define the main terms of your research idea but especially the subjects and primary outcome measures—focusing on operationalizing each key idea/term.
5. What are the aims of your proposed research (like specific aims)? What assumptions underpin your aims?
