What new knowledge will your paper produce? What will your paper offer to the current scholarly discourse on this topic that’s not already covered in the sources you’ve chosen?

Assignment: Rough Draft

Class : Writing for Graduate Students
Style: Should it be MLA I assume
Topic: See Abstract already completed by writer#60645 attached
The goal of Topic: (already submitted)
I am studying multi-task reading on devices vs. real books. Because I want to find out which method creates more retained information by both adults and youth.
In order to help my reader understand The contrast and/or better understanding of any in the amount of quality and/or quantity of information retained by adults and youth when reading on devices versus real paper books.

ASSIGNMENT: The rough draft should be 3-5 double-spaced pages in length (not including the title page, abstract page, and reference page). Any longer than 5 full pages will result in a loss of points.
Your reference page should contain a minimum of 5 entries (the 3 additional sources you identified in Week 4 and at least 2 other sources). You should also make use of headings and subheadings as needed.

(I wanted this article because it is a more in-depth study into the Kindle, the first form of digital reading for most people.)

Rough Draft for Paper:

The paper should contain the following major components, in the following order:

1. Title Page

2. Abstract

3. Introduction

4. Literature Review

5. Discussion

6. Conclusion

7. Reference List

Below is the feedback from the abstract assignment:
Curious what the differences in brain processes might be.

1. Is the scope manageable for a short paper of just roughly 5 pages? Do you have adequate page space to explore BOTH print and e-reading? It may be more manageable to either focus just on one OR focus on one specific aspect of both.

2. What new knowledge will your paper produce? What will your paper offer to the current scholarly discourse on this topic that’s not already covered in the sources you’ve chosen?

Remember that your paper should not merely report previous literature and repeat the ideas of others.
