Description
Many professional nursing organizations engage in the development of health policy. Nurses should participate in health and nursing policy issues through membership in one or more of these organizations.
Choose one local, state, or national nursing organization other than American Nurses Association (ANA) that has an interest in policy development and advocacy. Include the following criteria in the post:
Organizational status (national / date)
Vision/mission
Organization’s mandates or objectives/goals
Policy products (briefs, positions statements, White Papers, social media)
