Write enough about each production element, and that you don’t spend too many words on the plot. Analyze. Don’t just describe.

This paper must be at least 1,500 words.

Title Page: include a title page that states when and where you saw the play, and the word count of your document.

The Critique should include:

Introduction (include the URL of the digital play, where was the play performed,
what company, when was the performance)

Identify the goal of the play*

Overall impression of the play

(These above 3 items should collectively be between 15% and 20% of your critique)
Summary of Plot. (This is not the storyline; Include identifying the protagonist, antagonist, central conflict, climax, and resolution.)

Spelling and Grammar

Production Elements – At least 3 required but you can always do more (Acting, Directing, Set Design, Lighting and Costumes) (At least 30% of your paper)

Conclusion (at least 50 Words) (Restate Goal and if it was achieved)

Make sure you write enough about each production element, and that you don’t spend too many words on the plot.
