Description
Term Paper. You will write a short term paper for this class. Your paper will be between 5 and 8pages of text. If you have graphs or illustrations in your paper, they do not count toward the page requirement. Your paper should deal with an area of operations management. This is a research paper.
You must have a minimum of 8 quality (academic) sources for your paper. Quality sources include books (other than your textbook) and journal articles. For the most part, web pages and white papers are not academic in nature and would not count toward the 8 source requirement. The following website contains useful information for evaluating the quality of a source: you have a question as to whether a source is a quality source, please show it to the instructor.
You will turn in an outline of the paper including your sources prior to the midterm exam.
This counts as your grade on the paper. The paper should be APA style, double spaced, 12-point font with 1-inch margins all around. You must include a reference page and you must cite the sources of information you use in the body of the paper
