Aim: Find one research article discussing the practice of making a classroom or a school inclusive and summarise it critically. You can choose to review an article contained in the reference lists from the lectures or search online.

Points to discuss:
1. What is the focus of this research article? Start with a sentence clearly stating the main point of the research article. For example, this article explores ways to engage parents in supporting learning for children with a specific special educational need, e.g., autism.
2. Description of the sample (what group is being studied in this article). For example, 20 parents in Greece with children of primary-school age (if of specific Key Stage, specify here)
3. Methods and findings: What did the researchers do and what did they find? For example, they interviewed the parents and collected a list of effective ways to support children with autism at home. Briefly refer to the list of ways. Evaluate methods (including sample). For example: was the sample big enough to justify the conclusions drawn by the author? Were methods appropriate for the research focus, e.g., was the interview enough to give sound evidence for the matter they are researching? Were the claims the authors made justified by the evidence they present?
4. Discuss the importance of the findings in relation to the topic of this essay. For example, talk about what this article adds to the conversation about inclusive education or making reasonable adjustments in a classroom/school.
