The topic for this paper will be to discuss how different texts connect with the Puritanical beliefs (like the Puritan beliefs).
For this paper, I want to focus on the authors Anne Bradstreet and John Winthrop; to show how each author demonstrates or connects to the Puritan Beliefs. This paper will be using the poem “The Flesh and Spirit” by Anne Bradstreet and “A model of Christian charity” by John Winthrop.
The research question is “How do Anne Bradstreet and John Winthrop use the form, literary devices, and Puritan beliefs to portray the meaning within their literary works? (“The Flesh and Spirit” and A Model of Christian Charity)”.
