it.
Significant themes/ findings are compared and contrasted, evaluated, and discussed in light of the
existing body of knowledge. T
1. Why was all of the background in the literature review needed?
• What is the current state, and how is your topic being affected
• What are you finding/did you find in your course of study?
2. In this portion of your paper, report in sufficient detail the results and findings generated by your analyses of data and other facts. The organization, the data analysis and results reported is important to help the reader understand this section
• Tables and graphs may help in illustrating your argument
• Recap briefly of how you gathered the data
• Explain The procedures used, your findings and do they support your hypothesis and problem statement
• Summarize the missing data if there is any should be addressed as an issue here and a determination why your
work is still valid without this data — if applicable
3. The ANALYSIS section should present your results – ie did you prove your point?
• If there are comparisons, differences to other studies/scholarly work, convergence with the hypothesis – is your
hypothesis is not valid and you are proving an alternative theory
