Public Health Commissioning Proposal
THE BRIEF/INSTRUCTIONS
You are the community pharmacist. You have been commissioned by the clinical commissioning group to deliver an extended minor ailments programme. Produce a report on the implementation of the service that appraises how you will anticipate and lead the changes needed to assure the quality of the service.
Identify the key clinical governance issues that you will need to address when implementing this service. Critically discuss how these issues will impact on the quality of the service you provide.

Introduction: brief description of service maximum 240 words
Critical discussion of Clinical governance integration approx. 1320 words
Summary of assuring quality approx. 240 words
Identify and critically discuss issues around:
1. Clinical audit 10 marks

3. Leading change 10 marks
4. Competency/ training 10 marks
5. Clinical effectiveness 10 marks
6. Service user involvement 10 marks
7. Information governance 10 marks
8. Resources 10 marks
Overall presentation 5 marks
Coherence of critical discussion 10 marks
You will be running the service in the current health environment, so you need to consider steps required to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
