Now that you’ve learned how some of these systems are designed it’s time for you to do some research on how specific avionics work.
Write a 2 page double spaced well-formatted MS Word document (with citations…citation page is not counted in the page count) that provides a framework for comparing two different avionics systems and the future of aircraft systems (this can include both ground and air systems). [Hint: Such a document would most likely include an introduction paragraph, a table comparing individual characteristics, and a conclusion paragraph.]
For example, you might want to compare ADS-B with GPS, VOR’s (VOR, VOR/DME,VORTAC) with GPS for the comparison of avionics systems and you may want to talk about the FAA’s Next Gen System Wide Information System as part of the future aircraft systems.
