The aim of this assessment is to write a critical evaluation of psychological assessment of your choice from any area of applied psychology. For example, you can choose to critically evaluate intelligence tests; personality tests; infant and preschool assessments; testing persons with disabilities; neuropsychological
assessments and screening.
You are required to complete a literature review on the current issues in psychological assessment. You are then required to focus on the appropriateness of the assessment of your choice in psychology, and to critically discuss the issues related to the reliability and validity of the assessment.
You are expected to demonstrate critical thinking in order to review and evaluate the assessment.Your critical essay must provide: A clear and comprehensive review of the literature; an interpretation of the evidence; a critical analysis of the literature and a clear and cohesive argument. Your critical essay should be formatted according to APA 7th edition formatting.
You should use 12-point Times New Roman or Arial font and should be double spaced.
