Research the problems and the organisation using materials available in the public domain, such as newspapers and online material including the organisation’s own website etc. (From week 6 detailed guidance and support will be given on case study creation) Choose from 1 of the provided headings to build the case study: Communication Organisational Ethics Leadership Diversity Sustainability
Identify and consider the issues from the details of your case study. Use relevant theory and best-practice research as taught through the module and provided in the reading resources, to help you.
Analyse the problems you have identified, what might be the causes or contributing factors? Relate these to relevant theory. Using relevant theory, consider creative approaches to improving/resolving the issues identified.
In a best case scenario, how would you as a professional want to change for the better, the organisational practices or approaches that you have identified better. Seminar sessions will support you to work through both the case study creation and the analysis. More detail provided on Blackboard.
