Your reasons for applying to the proposed program at Stanford and your preparation for this field of study
Your research and study interests
Future career plans and other aspects of your background and interests which may aid the admission committee in evaluating your aptitude and motivation for graduate study
We ask that you treat your statement of purpose as an opportunity to “talk” to the Admissions Committee about the reason(s) you are interested in the MIP program, and the field of international policy in general, and why this program is a good fit with your future goals. The Statement of Purpose should not exceed two pages in length, single-spaced.
