Personality Theory
The text and the class lecture discussed four (4) categories of personality theories (Slide # 12 or Page 382 in the text.):
(1) Trait Theory
(2) Psychodynamic Theory (Freudian perspective)
(3) Behavioristic and Social Learning Theory
(4) Humanistic Theory (Carl Rogers)
Write a 2-3 page paper summarizing ONE of the categories of these theories or ONE specific THEORY OF PERSONALITY.
(These are discussed in greater detail throughout the chapter and many are also included in the lecture/power point on Chapter 12 that was presented in class and posted on Canvas.) Then critique the theory, stating its strengths and weaknesses.
