Note that you will have to devote one hour to listen to the oral argument in this part of the assignment, so plan your time accordingly. Listen to the oral argument in Hustler Magazine, Inc. v. Falwell. Pay close attention to the reasons Hustler’s attorney, Alan Isaacman (a Penn State grad), provides to the Supreme Court as to why parody should be protected. Write a two-page single-spaced essay summarizing the main points of Isaacman’s argument along with your observations about the justices’ questioning of both attorneys.
