You will be required to submit a paper based on an ethical dilemma that arises in the context of your practice (i.e., practicum, paid work), past or present. If you cannot think of a suitable example, please ask your practicum supervisor/colleagues to help you come up with a scenario based on their experience in your practice setting.
If you still can’t think of an example, you can choose one in the context of other paid/volunteer/practicum experience you have engaged in.
Describe the dilemma without naming the people involved directly. Choose an ethical decision making framework (one described in class or a different one you’ve chosen).
Describe the framework and then use it to work through your ethical issue. Reflect on whether or not you found the process helpful and in what ways.
