Develop the students’ skills in both computerised and non-computerised information retrieval, analysis and presentation.
Provide an opportunity for students to apply accounting, finance and business theory to a complex real example.
Provide a vehicle for the integration of many different areas of study, which previously have been taught separately.
Develop the principle of time management in individual and team contexts.
Provide a work related context in which students can develop skills of discussion, communication, negotiation, and presentation.
Rnhance students’ personal skills portfolio by team work in a relevant context, developing skills in, for example, committee management, work allocation and joint problem-solving.
Encourage the individual to reflect on the process and their individual development arising from it.
