You are the Assistant State Attorney and you are training staff to work in your circuit court. You want to give them an introduction into the main sequences of events of the adult criminal justice system. Create a 12-15 slide Microsoft PowerPoint presentation to guide them.

• Pretrial services
• Adjudication
• Sentencing and Sanctions
• Probation
• Jail/Prison
• Parole and/or Out of System
Include a minimum of three references typed in APA format. You may use the class text as one of the three references. The other references must be websites that end in .gov. For instance, fbi.gov, bjs.gov ….Be advised that a general “google” search of the topic is NOT an appropriate research method. Also keep in mind that the minimum of 1000 words only applies to the body of the document NOT the title page, reference page, or abstract.

Further directions on the design of the PowerPoint:
Include the use of a background (available on the “design” tab of the PowerPoint tool bar)
Include a MINIMUM of two images (use slide layout with one half text and one half the image, do not just have a slide with solely an image)
Have a single title slide at the beginning (no additional title slides or subtitle slides)
Have a single reference slide as the last slide with the references in APA format
The remaining 10 slides shall be content slides with AT LEAST 100 words on each slide
