This paper should be (at least 3pages) (minimum, 1000 words ) (double spaced) written project that requires students to create a historical argument, in which they will analyze and interpret the sources, and relate the “cause and effect” relationships revealed within the source material.
Grading will primarily be over Content, but the student should check spelling, grammar, syntax, etc.
Sources should be documented in an appropriate format. (MLA or Chicago Turabian Citation.)
The Paper should include all of the following:
A Title:
The Author/s or Producers: (who is writing the articles or producing the film clips)
Thesis/ Introduction: (what is the main point you believe the author/s or producer/s is trying to make)
Body/: (the body should COMPARE AND CONTRAST, SUMMARIZE and ANAYLIZE the MAIN POINTS of the article/s or Videos and give the student’s REACTION to them.
A Conclusion in which the students shares their Reactions: (opinions, was the articles/videos well written/produced, did you learn anything, would you recommend them to someone else etc…)
Include proper citations and footnotes and at the very end, a Bibliography
Upon completion, the Paper can be simply cut and pasted into the drop-box or attached as a single word document into the Historical Methods Paper Drop-box. A maximum of100 points will be awarded.
