Investigate how the creators of the advertisement have used all three Aristotelian appeals to develop the tone, theme(s), and message of the advertisement.

Make sure that you take the time to demonstrate your ability to identify and critical evaluate the rhetorical strategies at work in the ad, i.e., move deliberately through your analysis and make certain to fully and sharply cover all of the strategies that you identify as central to the tone, theme(s), and message of the advertisement.

You also need to identify the target audience and explain how such an audience might be expected to respond to the advertisement and why (do not jump to conclusions about the audience; look closely and think deeply about who the ad might affect the most).

Create a controlling idea (thesis) for the entire piece, and controlling ideas (topic sentences) for the body paragraphs. Moreover, include an introduction, at least three body paragraphs of four to five sentences each, and a conclusion.

Make certain to develop your ideas with support sentences and specific details (you must cite and comment on material from the advertisement in order to further your critical analysis).
