Volunteer experience
· Explain what type of setting you volunteered in.
· What was the makeup of the staff? i.e. PT’s, PTA’s, no PTA’s
· Discuss the general patient population in terms of general diagnosis, goals and expected outcomes.
· Discuss how the department utilized their staff correctly or incorrectly.
· Discuss how you observed the department reacting to any current trends in healthcare.
· Discuss a specific example where a staff person used communication skills appropriately or inappropriately.
· Discuss a specific patient or situation that left an impact on you and confirmed your decision to be a PTA.
