Reference Style:
References should be done in a version of the IEEE style. If you’re not familiar with it, IEEE is used mainly in research papers, especially technical papers, and incorporates end-of-document reference lists with numbers as in-text citations.
The basic IEEE style uses numbers in brackets – like this [1] – inserted in the text.
List all references at the end of the document. With IEEE you’ll sometimes see references listed at the bottom of each page which, again, isn’t the best for PPTs. And unless you’re a Word pro it’s more difficult to edit reports with references at the bottom of every page. So, just place the appropriate number at the beginning of each reference on the reference page(s) at the end of the document, using a consistent style for the references.
