you’re going to be asked to
critically evaluate and analyse that video and the techniques that demonstrated within that video and behaviours that demonstrated within that video
describe and suggest an alternative method of producing lateral wrist in this patient
so the patient is a young female who is falling of a kerb then got pain and deformity in the wrist and they also got a known radial head fracture
What you need to include in your critically evaluation of the video and it’s 1500 words
You need to talk about patient care based on video.
you need to talk about positive and negative aspects of patient care.
you need to consider the psychological and physiological effects of the patient on the behaviours that displayed.
you need to talk about medico legal matters.
You need to talk about radiation protection and also consider the radiation protection.
You need to reflect on the behaviours that demonstrated where performance for sure and what the implications for that are.
You need to be able to critically evaluate the demonstrated techniques and draw conclusions on the effect of the chosen technique, so would that give you an image??, would it give you an image that could be used in planning that patients next steps??
In terms of alternative techniques, you just need to
discuss an appropriate alternative technique for this particular patient but you need to be able to recognise the difficulties that you might come across in achieving high quality images both from your own and the technique has been demonstrated in the video.
