Emotions
Although is might sometimes feel like your anger “explodes” and comes out of nowhere, this is almost never the case. Anger builds slowly, and if you aren’t paying attention, it can happen entirely outside your awareness. 250 words min.
1. Discuss a time when your anger caught you by surprise.
2. In retrospect, were there any warning signs you could have picked up on?
Many of us pick up life-long habits related to anger when we are children, based off examples set by our parents.
3. Discuss some of the similarities between how you and your family members deal with anger.
4. What are your family’s strengths and weaknesses in dealing with anger?
As you answer each question, write a minimum of 5 sentences per question.

5. Do you think gender communication styles made a difference in the communication & outcome? Read chapter 6 for help understanding what gender communication styles are.
