Morphemes
For each category of morphemes (lexical, grammatical, free, bound, inflectional, and derivational), create a chart that provides a brief definition of each and lists 5-8 examples per category.
Include a 250-500 word summary describing an activity you would use to teach morphemes to your students. Clearly indicate the age group and level of the ELLs for which this activity is intended.
Your summary should also include a statement as to why knowledge of morphemes is essential for your ELLs.
