Task:
Write a project proposal of approximately 500-750 words proposing your final
project topic. Students must include:
(1) an introductory paragraph on the topic
of their final project;
(2) a tentative thesis statement for their final project;
(3) a
description of their argument and evidence to be used in the final project to
support their thesis; and
(4) an annotated bibliography of at least four scholarly
sources.Annotated Bibliography
Each entry in the annotated bibliography should be properly cited in MLA format
and include a short paragraph that:
(1) summarizes the argument of the source;
(2) critiques the source; and
(3) outlines how the student may use the source in
their project.
Criteria:
Students will be assessed on:
(1) the clarity of their writing;
(2) whether the annotated bibliography is properly completed according to the
task outlined above;
