Written Assignment Module 5 (APN Interview)
Interview an APN about their roles, transition, and the role development phases that they have experienced. Identify their current role in the organization that they work for. Ask for specific descriptions of situations at different points in their practice regarding barriers that they have encountered. How did they resolve it?
For example, discuss a problem when they first began practicing in an APN role for the first time, in another at six months, another at one year, and so forth describing the transition phase. Compare these descriptions with the role development phases described in the chapter (Novice to Expert). How did they resolve the barriers encountered and what lessons did they learn?
Discuss how the APN experiences related to Chapter 4 Role Transitions, from Novice to Expert (pg. 82 of your book), and the role concepts (pg. 84 of your Book).
The interview should be submitted in APA 7th edition. Review writing an interview in APA style.
