Use the research report template below to write a research report which focuses on distraction for venepuncture/procedure in school-age children (6-12 yrs).
Devise a research question that you would like to ask and develop a tool (questionnaire, online survey, interview schedule, focus group schedule, an observational tool, an audit etc) that can be used to explore this question, using rationale (discuss the reasons why you have developed the tool, including why and how you recruited your participants) and supporting literature.
Consider and discuss the ethical issues that may arise from the method you intend to use.
Select two key appropriate / relevant research studies on sleep in adolescents.
Provide a critical comparison of the two studies (Summarise the findings and conclusions of the studies and make comparisons / draw on similarities).
You can also support the findings and conclusions of these chosen studies with other literature as appropriate.
Discuss ethical issues that require consideration.Support each setion with relevant supporting literature.
