The Business Plan Outline

Overview:

After considering the unit topics covered so far, you will develop an outline for an initial business plan for a small business.

Instructions:

• Read and engage with the readings and resources for the Unit.
• After considering the unit topics covered so far, develop an outline for an initial
business plan for a small business. Include all the planning sections you consider necessary for success. Your outline should consist of a list of planning components with each component accompanied by brief (2-3 sentences) reason why you chose to include that item. Conclude with a one-paragraph summary of your concept of an initial business plan.

Requirements:

• The assignment should take the form of an outline containing at least three component sections for a business plan.
• Content in the document should be in proper APA form.
• It should have a clear introduction, the body of the outline, and concluding
summary.

• Focus on quality, as opposed to length.

• You should have clearly defined sections and a minimum of three APA
references (in addition to the course textbook.)

• The anticipated length of the document should be a minimum of three pages with
more thorough and thoughtful work extending beyond that guideline. It is not expected that the paper would exceed five pages in length
