What is an innovation? According to Merriam-Websters dictionary, an innovation is “ a new idea, method, or device, or the introduction of something new.”1 While technology is the default for many when it comes to innovation, there are also changes in philosophy, social practices, and political theory that shaped the world in which we live.
This assignment asks you to present an argument about which innovation you think had the most significant influence on modern life.
Consider than not all innovations are positive, and even those that are have unintended consequences and drawbacks.
