Qualitative Reporting Exercise
Students are required to undertake 4-6 interviews lasting approximately 15-20 minutes each on ONE of the topics presented below and present a written report (not more than 2,000 words) on the findings and conclusion of the interviews. The study will require the students to:
Choose a topic for interview (options below to be decided);
Design an interview schedule;
Undertake the interviews;
Record the data;
Analyse and report the findings;
Draw conclusions based on the findings.
The topics are as follows:
What motivates spectators to attend sporting events?
What public support exists for the inclusion of e sports in the Olympic Games?
Virtual communities: To what effect have students used online platforms to ensure a sense of community during lockdown?
