Hello Professor and Class, In this course I have learned so much regarding the different considerations for human resource management to support international operations in multinational corporations. I have explored the concepts of corporate culture, training, performance management, labor sources, and compensation. I will apply what I’ve learned in my professional and personal life. I never really knew the whole concept of what working in Human Resources really consisted of. I didn’t know how about the foreign policies and such until now. I am intrigued and interested to learn and know more. This to me, is an opportunity of exploration. I have always wanted to work in HR and I feel that this course has better equipped me for that job opportunity whenever it presents itself. The challenges that I faced during this course was dealing with the issues currently on my job with a retaliative boss and finding the push to log in class and complete assignments, all the while my middle school aged son got bullied/assaulted and had to press charges on another child and currently as I type this discussion, was diagnosed with pneumonia and was in the hospital this past weekend. I am so glad that persevered because I am determined to finish strong because I know that I am victorious and that all things work together for my good. I am glad that I had the opportunity to be in this course and gain the information and knowledge that I have gained. I have grown from these challenges because I didn’t react in a negative manner, I stayed positive and maintained my self control and handled things the legal way.
