Topic for your Exam I Essay:
“Human Sexuality is Only Described, Never Defined”

On the basis of our reading for week 6 (September 27- October 3) in folder: week 6:
Mussalam, F. B. 1983. “Birth control and pre-modern population”. In: Sex and Society in Islam. London/New York: Cambridge University Press, pp. 10-27.), we will proceed a small research on the topics about: biology and medicine in connection to sex and culture.
Here are the instructions for you:

•find one example from any culture in the world that speaks about the sexuality and gender. For example: sexuality and gender in Native American tribes, in rural Africa, in old Greek society etc. The topic of sexuality and gender in different cultures (tribes, ethnicities, groups etc), could be also connected with violence, rape etc.

•proceed a small research on internet. You could find a short video, a movie, a text, a song, a poem, an image, a personal account, etc. that is connected to our topic of interest: Human Sexuality is Only Described, Never Defined
