Challenges for the Juvenile Justice System
For this Assessment, use the concepts in your learning from the class to examine the challenges faced by the juvenile justice system.
In a 3–4-page (excluding cover page), expository essay:
Analyze three challenges and unique issues that the juvenile justice system faces in the 21st Century.
Analyze the impact the increasing number of child abuse and neglect cases has on the juvenile justice system.
Provide specific data on the increase of child abuse and neglect cases.
Discuss the future challenges facing the juvenile justice system.
Note: This Assessment will require outside research. Use at least three external research sources, including academic journals, to support your work. You may consult the Library, the internet, the textbook, other course material, and any other outside resources in supporting your task, using proper citations and references in APA style. Discuss how you evaluated the credibility of the resources used.

Your paper must include a title page and reference page in 10- or 12-point font. (Arial, Courier, and Times New Roman are acceptable.)

Your work should display superior content, organization, style, and mechanics.
Appropriate 6th edition APA formatting and citation style should be followed.
You should also make sure to:
Include a title page with full name, class name, section number, and date.
Include an introductory and concluding paragraph and demonstrate college-level communication through the composition of original materials in Standard English.
Use examples to support your discussion.

Compose your Assessment in Microsoft® Word®, save it as CJ420M3_YourName_Module3 Assessment, and submit it to the Competency Assessment Dropbox.
Minimum Submission Requirements
This Assessment should be a Microsoft Word (4-6 page) document, in addition to the title and reference pages.

Your writing should be well ordered, logical and unified, as well as original and insightful.
A separate page at the end of your submission should contain a list of references, in APA format. Use your textbook, the Library, and the internet for research.
Be sure to cite both in-text and reference list citations where appropriate and reference all sources. Your sources and content should follow proper APA citation style.
