As noted on page twenty of your textbook, Africans revere their ancestors. These must be dead. They must have been elderly when they died a natural death. Each day of the week (Monday through Sunday), do something to honor your ancestors. It is a serious moral affront to the family and ethnic group in Africa to not honor your ancestors. There are social and cultural sanctions if you do not. Your penalty for not doing so daily will be to charge yourself $1 per day for every day you forget. At the end of the week you will offer this to a charity as a means of begging forgiveness from your ancestors. Alternatively, you can offer thirty minutes of community service per offense. You can accomplish honoring your ancestors by telling stories about them, or placing their picture in your home so everyone can see it. You can also devise another way of honoring them.
In your post, who are your ancestors for this exercise? What did you do to honor and remember them? Did you have to impose an offense? How many offenses did you accumulate? (The maximum sacrifice offered is $5 or five hours.)
