BIOL Basis for Behavior class
Requirements:
The student must design an experiment that will allow one of the following neurological aspects to be tested: Memory, executive function, language, visual-perception or motivation. The experiment has to eliminate as many confounding variables as possible.
You must hand in a paper containing the following: Hypothesis, variables to be studied, method, literature review of related experiments. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO THE EXPERIMENT.
A draft of your paper has to be submitted halfway through the semester and you will receive 30% of your grade at that time.
Note:
• Also write 1 to 2 pages Outline on one of the experiments listed above.
• It needs at least one source that has done the chosen experiment already.
• Write about how they would carry out the study and what are some problems or variables they would encounter as mention above.
