SECTION 2 — Analysis of Financial Performance Using the latest two annual reports of your allocated company, select and calculate exactly 6** ratios of your choice over the last two-year period. (** Performance, Efficiency, Liquidity or Gearing ratios)
2.1 to 2.6 — Calculation**, explanation of your chosen 6** ratios (note the calculations** of your ratios should be included in the appendices
SECTION 3 — Investment Using ratio analysis (data in section 2 above), Investment Ratios, and any other relevant information, analyse the financial performance and position of the company from an investor’s point of view on their company’s performance, and make a recommendation, with reasons, to invest or not to invest.
APPENDIX
• Calculation (all figure work) of your chosen ratios in Section 2 above.
• Brief quotes — about 5 lines is the maximum acceptable for each quote, and you should not have more than 6 quotes in your essay. You don’t need to include any at all if you don’t want to. If you do use quotes, it is important that you have a good reason for including it —the quote must be properly introduced and you must make some comments on each one.
