Research Question

What are the differences on the use of pharmacological approach on behavioural and cognitive ability of people living with dementia in both community and residential aged care facilities during the covid lockdown isolation while evaluating its effectiveness?

Aim

To provide an overview and address the existing gap in the knowledge on the differences of pharmacological interventions for behavioural and psychological symptoms in dementia in residential aged care and community (home care settings) during the Covid lockdown

Objective

1. Determine the impact of isolation to people living with dementia.

2. Identifying the policies and procedures of an aged care facility when it comes to using pharmacological treatment to the target population and to determine its difference with the community base setting.

3. To determine the changes of medication on managing behavioural and psychological symptoms due to isolation measures of Covid-19 on people living with dementia in residential aged care and community (home care setting).
