For this option, you are to view one of The American Film Institute’s 100 Greatest American Movies [10th anniversary ed.] (Links to an external site.) and write a brief review (1 1/2 pages or so). Your review should be just that–a review, not a summary. In writing your review, you should consider the technical aspects of filmmaking, such as sound, continuity, editing, use of music, and all of the things we discussed in our “movies as art” discussion–don’t focus solely on the storyline and acting.
As always, proofread your review carefully before submitting; be sure to proofread, spell-check, etc. before submitting your extra credit.
