Write an advocacy letter to a Congressional representative in support of or opposing a program, policy or law that affects the lives of people with significant disabilities. This assignment is an exercise in advocacy; therefore, the letter does not have to be mailed or emailed to the Congressional representative for you to receive your grade.

The American Psychological Association’s “A Psychologist’s Guide to Federal Advocacy” is a great resource for communication with Congress.
