2.Explain what is meant by the criticism that the criminal law is ‘unprincipled and chaotic’ (Duff, 2018).

In your answer, you should discuss at least one offence type, and at least one defence. You should focus on offences and defences we have covered during the module.

You should also refer to at least 10 academic texts, and at least 10 criminal cases, all of which should be included in your bibliography. You may refer to more, not to less – note this is a minimum.
