U.S. Army Division Level Commanders Planning Guidance War Fighting Functions(WFF)
From the perspective of the 4th Infantry division commander, you will write the “Commander’s Planning Guidance” (CPG) addressing the Movement and Maneuver Warfighting Function (WfF) and Intelligence Warfighting Function. Give specific Course of Action (COA) guidance, identify critical events including the decisive operation, and discuss the division reserve with both separate Warfighting functions .
Just FYI the “DIVISION Reserve” is simply a group of military’s personnel or military units that is initially not committed to a battle by its commander.
