As always a Paragraph = minimum of 5 sentences
PARAGRAPH #1 = INTRODUCTION TO TOPIC
Give the background information about the topic at issue. Specifically the seven ID (Identification) categories.
WHO-(I.E. give full names of WHO was a transcendentalist),
WHAT (I.E. – WHAT was the movment about),
WHEN(IE- WHEN did the movement start or WHEN was its “golden age”,
WHERE (IE – WHERE was it created)
WHY (IE – WHY Was it created)
HOW – (IE how did they do whatever they did),
Most importantly be sure to state the HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE of the movement (IE – what was so HISTORICALLY SIGNIFICANT about the topic/ or put another way- what the big deal about this topic? Why should we care soo much?)
