Understanding challenges with and strategies for advancing the use of evidence by policy-makers is essential for success. In this lesson, we will explore the ways in which Advanced Practice Registered Nurses meet these challenges to lead initiatives to produce quality outcomes. First, we’ll hear from the President of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners on this topic. Then, we will reflect on the classes’ interviews of APRN leaders to examine further the positive impacts of APRN-led initiatives.
