This is an oral presentation but please answer the question in this manner:
First under title ‘Background’, give some general information on the Scramble for Africa, for example; When did it start? What countries were involved? Who were the colonizers and what countries were colonized? How did this affect the African countries?
Under the title ‘German colonization of Africa’ there are 4 questions, the first being; ‘What events led them to make the decision to colonize Africa?
2200-2500 words in length to meet the 20 minute mark. Of course the main focus is Germany’s role in the Scramble for Africa so be more brief when talking about the event as a whole and more in depth and detailed when answering the questions that focus on Germany’s role. Make it flow regardless of the subtitles, so after discussing the general background of the event mention that you will now focus on Germany’s role.
