You work as a technical writer for your local water utility provider. Your boss has tasked you with creating a flyer/information sheet (double-sided) for new residents that informs them about their water supply and related topics.

Who is the primary audience and what choices in your document were made with the audience in mind? Give examples. Explain, making sure to use the language of design introduced in your readings—arrangement/emphasis, clarity/conciseness, and tone/ethos.
What aspect of your final draft are you most pleased with, and why?
What aspect are you dissatisfied with, and why?
Generally speaking, how comfortable are you designing an effective, clear document for a defined audience? Explain.

Where does your drinking water come from?
What water issues currently affect our area?
Is it safe to drink directly from the tap or do you need a filter? (tap filter, whole-house filter, etc.?)
Are there any watering restrictions for your lawn or garden?
What water conservation practices are recommended in your area?

What should you do if a pipe bursts, a sink clogs, or the toilet backs up? (Some readers may be first-time renters or homeowners… what should they know?)
Where can you learn about subsidies/support for water conservation”?
Where can you learn about water-wise landscaping?
Can you use a rain barrel to collect water for your property?
