Task 1 – Describe the purpose of the endocrine system and outline its structure.

Task 2b – Using diabetes type I as a named example, assess the effects of hormone imbalance. What treatments are available and what are the possible outcomes of poor management of the disease?
Task 3 – Show your understanding of the similarities and differences between the nervous system and endocrine system by comparing the modes of actions of nerves and hormones.
